Did you know? A decrease experienced by 81%

In October 2020, 81% of Onco-hematologists noted a decrease in promotion by medical sales representatives compared to the pre-crisis Covid period, mainly attributed to the pharma companies for 9 out of 10, while marking their clear preference for face-to-face meetings (two thirds of doctors). No return to normal is foreseen before a vaccine is available according to 1 in 2 doctors.

Last spring, the proportion of Onco-hematologists accepting a distant medical sales rep visit remained low, at 39%, and just under 1 in 2 remained opposed to distant visits once lockdown would be over

Teleconsultations' Impact

teleconsultation

Did you know? 11% teleconsultations

In October 2020, 62% of Onco-hematologists have performed at least one teleconsultation, bringing the share of teleconsultations to 11% of consultations (compared to 6% before the Covid crisis and 55% at its peak in the spring). In total, a small majority of Onco-hematologists say they are satisfied (56%).

Last spring, however, the Onco-hematologists surveyed expected a more marked increase in the share of teleconsultations in their activity, up to 22%. This compares to their highest satisfaction level of 72%.

Medical Congress

medical congress

Did you know that 25% of our clients prefer to distance themselves from their customers?

From May to October 2020, 63% of Onco-hematologists attended at least one medical congress, but only 17% in person. The distant congresses still segment the onco-hematologists, with only one out of 2 satisfied with what is offered. And in the future, 60% will prefer face-to-face meetings if they have the choice, but 25% will prefer remote meetings to meet the current ecological challenges and save time.
