With 2.3 million new cases diagnosed per year1, Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer worldwide, after Lung, and first in Europe. Among women, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer, with 666K deaths each year worldwide1, however, thanks to early detection, improvement in treatments and treatment management, breast cancer mortality is reducing at a rate of 2-4% per year2.
